Position overview

We are seeking a self-motivated marketing manager to support our team 1 day a week. You will play a crucial role in developing and executing innovative marketing strategies to promote our low carbon cloud services to a B2B audience. 

Responsibilities

  • Marketing Strategy Development: build a multi-channel marketing plan and design supporting campaigns to targe SMEs and Corporates procuring relevant cloud services. We’d expect this to include digital, PR, email & offline channels
  • Content Creation: Generate engaging and informative marketing content, including blog posts, case studies, infographics, and social media content, highlighting the benefits of our cloud platform to generate inbound leads
  • Digital Marketing: Manage and optimise digital marketing initiatives, including email campaigns, social media advertising, search engine optimization (SEO), and pay-per-click (PPC) advertising
  • PR, Partners and Influencer Marketing: Identify PR opportunities, strategic partnerships and influencers in the sustainability and cloud computing space to expand our reach in a cost effective manner
  • Brand Awareness: Drive brand visibility and recognition by participating in relevant industry events, conferences, and webinars. Identify opportunities for thought leadership and speaking engagements for key team members
  • Lead Generation: Work closely with the sales team to develop lead generation programs, creating targeted campaigns that attract potential customers
  • Analytics and Reporting: use analytics tools to measure and analyse the performance of marketing campaigns, providing regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) to guide decision-making
  • Website Management: Collaborate with the Creative Director to ensure the company website is up-to-date, user-friendly, and optimised for lead generation and conversions.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience working in a marketing role ideally at a growing tech company.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, social media, email, etc.).
  • Proficiency in using marketing tools and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Hootsuite, HubSpot, etc.) to measure and optimise campaign performance.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Creativity and innovative thinking to devise unique marketing approaches that differentiate our cloud computing services in the market
  • Experience in tech, SaaS, or cloud computing would be advantageous
  • Passion for sustainability and a genuine interest in contributing to a greener future through technology.
